PalmSHIELD Helps Mission Dispensary Make History in Allentown, PA

Allentown, Pennsylvania opened up their very first medical marijuana dispensary—Mission Dispensary—on June 12, 2018. This is exciting because they decided to include a PalmSHIELD horizontal louver mechanical screening enclosure as a part of their dispensary. PalmSHIELD’s horizontal louver fence system was installed masterfully by ProMax Fence Systems at the dispensary. The mechanical equipment screening fits in amazingly with the exterior of the building by complementing its color accents and unique architectural design. The enclosure is off to one side of the building and is facing the front of the building.

Based in Reading, Pennsylvania, ProMax Fence Systems has become a PalmSHIELD installation specialist. They have installed PalmSHIELD product on many occasions and after seeing Mission Dispensary’s finished look, it is apparent that they do masterful work. All the seams of Mission Dispensary’s system are tight and it continues to stay level and even as the ground slopes downward. This PalmSHIELD project used Gorilla hinges and an exclusive internal locking device. The enclosure stands at 10-feet tall with a large double swing gate at the rear of the structure. Due to the gate’s large size, it requires robust hinges. The Gorilla hinges use half inch mounting plate with all the bolt holes tapped and pre-drilled and a butterfly design.
